Welcome to Brunswick Senior Squadron – GA072.

The Civil Air Patrol is the Civilian Auxiliary of the United States Air Force for its Search and Rescue Operations. We are also a volunteer organization that performs Coastal Sundown Patrols, Aerospace Education, Cadet Training, and other humanitarian services.

Over the past several decades, in addition to responding to Emergency Locator Beacon and Missing Aircraft Missions from the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center, Squadron Personnel have also responded to Presidentially Declared disasters, such as the Albany Floods, Hurricane Georges, Deepwater Horizon, and Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
During Deepwater Horizon, the first Mission Base Staff from Georgia was comprised entirely of personnel from the Brunswick Squadron.

The Squadron meeting is usually the first Monday of the month at the Gruber Cafe at 1930 hrs.

For directions, or further information, please contact our Squadron Commander, Captain Brian Mooney at 912-318-7364
